Electronics Engineer in Development and Innovation

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Summer Placement Programme in Electronics Engineering. This 13-week placement offers the chance to develop knowledge and skills essential for a future engineering career.
You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-time projects, gaining experience in aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, applied research, and test. You will be part of a real project team, learning about a Leonardo product and contributing to solving real-life engineering problems on state-of-the-art avionics sensor systems.

Emphasis will be placed on acquiring practical skills not easily gained in an academic environment. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be working towards a minimum of 2:2 Bachelor's/Integrated Master's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Engineering Science, Physics, or a relevant discipline. An interest in hardware engineering disciplines such as RF, Microwave, Power supply, EMC, FPGA, and high-speed digital is required. Please note that UK Security Clearance eligibility is mandatory for this opportunity.
About the Role
This Summer Placement is based in Edinburgh or Newcastle and offers flexible working hours with hybrid possibilities.
