We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design and specification of building refurbishments, including extensions, window replacements, roofing, fencing, and general refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the delivery of medium-sized building-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the quality expectations of our clients.
  • Design and Specification: Design and specify building refurbishments, including extensions, window replacements, roofing, fencing, and general refurbishments, in accordance with current guidelines, standards, and regulations.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with other services within Brackenberry Ltd and across other disciplines within the Building Surveying Team and wider Design and Construction Service.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to ensure their expectations are met and quality is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, plus a number of years of experience in a similar role, or significant vocational experience at a demonstrably professional level.
  • Technical Skills: Proven track record in building design and delivery using AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of building refurbishments, including extensions, window replacements, roofing, fencing, and general refurbishments, in accordance with current guidelines, standards, and regulations.

  • Availability: You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to Work: You should have the right to work in the UK.
