About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Performance Leader to join our team at Société Générale. As a key member of our Global and Integrated Finance Division, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and steering strategic decisions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of GBIS, working closely with business partners and management to deliver accurate and valuable information used in the Management information pack. This will involve ensuring the necessary support and expertise are provided to the business, as well as leading transversal exercises such as annual budgeting, strategic reviews, and financial modelling of GBIS UK financial trajectory.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10/15 years of experience working in Financial services, preferably in financial steering;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in process improvement analysis, business process reengineering, and transformation/integration projects;
  • Functional background expected on one of the following areas: Accounting norms and standards (IFRS, local GAAP), Regulatory Reporting processes, Liquidity and Scarce Resources Management, Product Control, Market Risk, Credit Risk, financial performance steering.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
