Early Childhood Education Specialist

St. Croix River Education District is seeking an experienced Medical SEN Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our Early Childhood Special Education program, you will work with infants and toddlers to determine developmental strengths and needs. You will synthesize assessment data and evaluation results to make eligibility determinations set forth by the state of Minnesota. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with families, service providers, and school districts.
Responsibilities:
- Complete multi-disciplinary team evaluations and assessments of infants and toddlers to determine developmental strengths and needs for each child and priorities of the family.
- Synthesize assessment data and evaluation results to make eligibility determinations set forth by the state of Minnesota.
- Serve as a member of the Interagency Help Me Grow committee, as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Preferred: MN Teaching Licensure in Early Childhood Special Education or willingness to obtain.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Travel between homes and/or daycare centers in East Central, Hinckley, Chisago Lakes, and Rush City.
Salary and Benefits:
$54,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
