Education and Training Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Education and Training Coordinator to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our training department, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering education and training programs to ensure the competence and knowledge of our workforce.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a global business serving customers in 31 countries, with a dedicated team of 42,000 people. Responsibilities:- Coordinate Education and Training Programs: Work closely with our Learning & Development (L&D) team to coordinate and deliver education and training programs.
- Develop Training Materials: Assist in the development of training materials, including workshops, presentations, and documentation.
- Audit and Review: Regularly audit and update training materials driven through evaluation and new equipment and technologies.
- Foster Learning Culture: Promote a balanced approach to formal training, coaching, and on-the-job learning to enhance performance.
- Training Administration: Maintain and update training records, highlight opportunities, and create a plan for closure.
- Educational Background: Apprenticeship qualified or holds an engineering-based NVQ level 3 or equivalent (multi-skilled desired but not essential).
- Operational Insight: Ability to develop training materials, conduct engaging and effective training sessions based on operational equipment.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the FMCG/Supply Chain sector, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Training Expertise: Proven experience in the field of learning and development with examples of delivering training using various methodologies with a focus on technical training.
- Compliance Knowledge: Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
- Quality Systems Understanding: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
- Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £58,000 per annum depending on experience.
