We are currently seeking a Depot Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical engineering and a desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a Depot Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe operation of our powered access equipment, working closely with our location service manager to ensure high standards of customer service and equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics fault finding.

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including life assurance, Westfield healthcare plan, 25 days holiday and a pension, makes this an attractive opportunity for anyone looking to take their career to the next level.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot, ensuring conformance with manufacturer's specification, company policy and regulations
  • Repairing machines at depot or on site as required, to ensure conformance with manufacturer's specification and company policy
  • Ensuring the appearance of the fleet meets corporate standards
  • Familiarising customers with safe machine operation, in accordance with company procedures
