Equestrian Assistant Job Summary

As an Equestrian Assistant at Coworth Park, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for providing exceptional equestrian experiences for our guests. Your primary focus will be on stable duties, ensuring the horses are well cared for and prepared for guests to ride.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feed, hay, muck out, turn out, groom, clip, bandage, and maintain the stable and its equipment.
  • Exercising horses daily to prepare them for guests to ride, keeping them fit and well schooled for safe riding.
  • Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner, fitting them with safety equipment, and providing detailed knowledge of the area and hotel services.
  • Teaching guests on our ponies and horses with knowledge, enthusiasm, and care for safety at all times.

Requirements

  • Basic Equestrian knowledge.
  • General yard work experience.
  • Ability to escort rides safely without assistance.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good communicator.
  • Warm and friendly personality.
  • Positive attitude.
