The Menu Partners, a leading food service provider, is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join its dynamic team in London. This key role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a hands-on approach.

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, managing a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working effectively.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse shift, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Investigating customer complaints and resolving them internally or externally as required.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports on shift performance, including productivity, efficiency, and any incidents.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards. A solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations is essential for this role.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably within the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
