**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Educator to provide high-quality targeted early educational learning and support to children aged 0-18 years with a disability or complex health need in Lincolnshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team providing support services for children with disabilities across Lincolnshire.

The role will involve running a holiday club providing parents and carers with a suitable break, supporting children aged 5-18 years in local schools and community venues.

To achieve this aim, you will work with children with disabilities and their families to promote self-confidence and independence.

The **Key Duties** of this role are:

  • Facilitate high-quality sessions for children with disabilities, focusing on closing the attainment gap while ensuring children's personal care needs are met.
  • Plan and facilitate sessions aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum, promoting self-confidence and independence.
  • Facilitate community, youth groups, and holiday sessions for children with disabilities in local venues, providing parents with a suitable break.
  • Monitor children's progress, particularly in relation to relevant outcomes within their Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), where applicable.
  • Support parents to access advice and promote peer group participation, learning, and engagement.

The **Essential Criteria** for this role are:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare, Youth/Play work, or equivalent experience working with children with disabilities.
  • Understanding of meeting individual needs of disabled or complex health needs children and young people.
  • Effective communication skills and experience working in an integrated team.

The salary for this role is approximately £25,500 - £32,000 per annum (£11.63 - £15.10 per hour).
