Administrative Support Specialist for Emergency Department

Description of the Role:
The Receptionist and Patient Advisor will work within the Emergency Department at University Hospital Wishaw, providing a comprehensive reception service to patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording demographics, details of injury/illness, and providing a high level of customer care. They will also work closely with clinical and nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient flow.
Additionally, the post holder will liaise with the Scottish Ambulance Service and other relevant departments to ensure effective service provision. They will also be responsible for answering patient enquiry calls, re-directing calls as necessary, and undertaking the scanning process for paper records.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer service and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
