**Job Title:** HGV 1 Driver Position

**Job Type:** Permanent

**Location:** Castle Donnington

**Job Description:**

Staffing Match is working with a well-respected national logistics client to fill permanent HGV 1 driver positions. The ideal candidate will have a valid UK Category CE licence, UK CPC, and UK Digital Tachograph Card. A minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles is required, with a maximum of 6 penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes. Excellent communication skills are essential.

**Responsibilities:**

* Complete 3-5 trunk runs per day
* Start at 4am-9am
* Perform curtain sider work
* Make on-time deliveries
* Follow company policies and procedures
* Strapping loads correctly

**Benefits:**

* Weekly pay
* Overtime available
* 23 plate vehicles
* 33 days holiday (dictated by factory shut downs)

**Rates of Pay:**

* £16.25 per hour basic
* £20.31 per hour overtime after 48 hours

**Training:**

* Pass a driving assessment before attending a Three-day company programme
