About the Role

FUTURE SELECT RECRUITMENT is seeking an experienced Laboratory Asbestos Analyst to join our South West based Asbestos Consultancy. This role involves carrying out bulk sample analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy in line with HSG 248 guidelines.

Salary Details:

The salary for this role is estimated to be £24,000 - £29,000 per year, depending on experience. The company also offers additional benefits such as training and a competitive salary package.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for analysis while following established protocols.
  • Perform bulk sample analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy.
  • Complete job sheets accurately and return results to clients in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • BOHS P401 qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a UKAS accredited asbestos laboratory.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
