Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated administrative support officer to join our team at South Lanarkshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective day-to-day administration and support relating to learning and development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a wide range of duties in accordance with predetermined procedures, working to targets and deadlines.
  • Deal with enquiries from internal customers and liaison with external training providers to ensure that employees receive appropriate learning and development and that it is accurately recorded on Oracle Fusion.
  • Interpret detailed information and work on own initiative.
  • Regular contact with Resource key stakeholders to ensure that employees receive their mandatory and essential learning within pre-defined timescales.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the principles of customer care.
  • Demonstrate excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams.
  • Experience with databases is desirable.
  • Minute taking experience would also be desirable.
