About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Management Specialist to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Leader. This is a key role within our Finance Operations function, responsible for billing and collections of payments due.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and management to the Accounts Receivable area, ensuring it meets key performance metrics such as billing, error-free processing, cash allocation, and timely settlement of debtors.
  • Develop and implement effective credit control and debt management strategies to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.
  • Lead and manage a team of credit control specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management and credit control, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial management, credit control, and accounts receivable, preferably in a similar role within a large organization.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar financial management systems.
