Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible and able to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. A minimum of 28 days' paid holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time staff) is offered, along with a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to individuals in their own homes to live independently
- Assisting with daily planners, financial expenditure, domestic support, and administration of medication
- Maintaining relationships and supporting individuals to find new friendships
- Encouraging participation in local community activities to enhance social inclusion
Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Flexible and willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- A minimum of 6 skills from: honest, good communicator, strong values, flexible, passionate, self-motivated, reliable, caring, and inclusive
