About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Development Support Analyst to join our expanding IT Development team in Newcastle. You will be part of a dedicated group responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software systems across various M Group business divisions, including Water, Energy, Telecom, Transport, Plant, and Fleet.

Our MGS IT Development Team is committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our diverse client base. We work collaboratively with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless software integration and optimal performance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group IT Systems Development Manager, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for our applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert troubleshooting and resolution for technical issues reported via the helpdesk.
- Monitoring application performance and ensuring daily processing runs smoothly.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing software applications using C# .NET, Oracle, Linux, and Unix technologies.
- Collaborating with development, database administration, and solution architecture teams to investigate complex problems and implement effective solutions.
- Identifying and addressing potential software compliance issues.
