Mace is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our consult and construct business, you will be responsible for the commercial management of work packages, collaborating with package managers and reporting into the project commercial lead.
Key Responsibilities- Provide risk and opportunity reporting mechanisms to mitigate risks and protect work packages and project margins through cost control systems.
- Collaborate with package managers to ensure commercial package management and reporting to the commercial lead.
- Establish cost control systems, including administering client and subcontract changes.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to enhance profit and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and subcontract profit and loss reporting.
- Experience in establishing cost control systems and leading value engineering exercises.
- Ability to communicate, collaborate, and network with key stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Established problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change.
- Chartered MRICS (or equivalent) and working towards membership of MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS/MICE or equivalent.
