Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Newhaven. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence. You will work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What we're looking for:
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
