The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a skilled Delivery Technologist to support the GMP warehouse, shipping, and sample dispatch service operations in Macclesfield, UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, locate, and store materials in line with documented procedures and inventory management systems.
  • Sample and dispense Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) meeting customer requirements and following SHE procedures.
  • Provide high-level customer service, engaging with the science community to understand their business needs.
  • Adhere to GMP at all times.
Requirements:
  • GCSE or equivalent secondary school qualification.
  • 1+ years' experience in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service in a logistics environment.
  • Solid understanding and experience in shipping, inventory, or purchasing.
  • Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG, and OSHA Right to Know is desirable.
  • High regard for safety, quality, and adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
