Health and Social Care Specialist

Strategy Education is seeking an experienced Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our team in Haringey, London for a long term contract.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students teaching and supporting all designated classes in H&SC. Key responsibilities include:
- To implement and deliver schemes of work and lessons that meet the requirements.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher and Form Tutor.
We are looking for someone who can contribute to raising standards of student attainment and share and support the academy's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Salary: UPS/MPR plus Inner London Weighting (£34,000 - £50,000 per annum).
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting.
