Power Electronic Design Engineer

Permanent Futures seeks a skilled Power Electronic Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves product development of analogue and power electronics-based systems, PCB layout, circuitry, prototyping, and manufacturing scale-up.

We require an HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, experience with power supplies, inverters, and control electronics, and experience in a manufacturing environment designing practical products.

The ideal candidate will have good analogue design skills, excellent knowledge of power supplies, and some exposure to embedded systems. You will work on a variety of exciting projects, often to tight deadlines, and be part of an experienced team with a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product development of analogue and power electronics-based systems
  2. PCB layout & circuitry
  3. Prototyping and testing
  4. Manufacturing scale-up

Candidate Requirements:

  1. HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
  2. Experience with design of power supplies, inverters, and control electronics
  3. Experience in a manufacturing environment designing practical products
  4. Basic mechanical engineering knowledge
  5. Good working knowledge of analogue power supply engineering
