Job Description

At WSP UK, we're seeking a talented Civil Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Development business unit, you'll play a crucial role in delivering projects that shape the future of our communities.

Our team works on some of the most prestigious developments in the UK, and you'll be contributing to projects such as EDF Energy Sizewell C, HZI Energy Recovery Facility Rookery South, and Cambridge Eastern Access.

As a Civil Infrastructure Development Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to concept studies, strategies, and drawing packages, leading to planning applications and technical approvals.
  • Working on various Development projects across all sectors and clients.
  • Collaborating with the Cambridge team to develop your technical capabilities and support your career progression.
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensuring tasks are delivered to budget, programme, technical standards, and legal requirements.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in highway design, drainage strategy, and flood risk assessment. You should have excellent communication skills, be proficient in software such as Info Drainage, Micro Drainage, and AutoCAD, and have experience working with clients, co-professionals, and design teams.
