Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Draughtsman to join our established manufacturing business, based in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about designing innovative solutions and working with a settled team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D designs for the manufacturing department, as well as modifying existing products to meet customer specifications using 3D Inventor software.

About Us

Our client is a reputable manufacturer of bespoke process solutions, with a strong reputation for innovation and excellent training opportunities. They offer a competitive salary and benefits package, flexible working hours, and the option to work from home 2 days a week after completing the training period.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanically qualified background to HNC/Degree level, experience using 3D Inventor software, and design for manufacturing expertise.

Job Responsibilities
  • Designing 2D and 3D models for the manufacturing department
  • Modifying existing products to meet customer specifications using 3D Inventor software
  • Creating GA drawings and BOM's
Requirements
  • Mechanically qualified to HNC/Degree level
