Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at ACS Performance. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • To take ownership of process improvement initiatives within the mould shop, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Lead APQP activities for new product introductions, guaranteeing all necessary plans are in place to meet customer quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of APQP deliverables, driving process control and reducing final inspection culture.
  • Analyse NRFT data to identify areas requiring process improvement, with a focus on cost reduction, labour savings, and defect reduction.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging employee engagement and empowerment.

Requirements

  • HNC/HND or above level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous experience working in a Process Engineer role within a Manufacturing or Process Engineering environment.
  • Experience using measuring equipment, design reviews, and ensuring production problems are corrected with robust corrective actions.
  • A good understanding of the NPI process and getting products into manufacture, including documentation such as Manufacturing Instructions.
  • Practical problem-solving skills, including understanding manufacturing processes and solving issues on the shop floor.

Salary and Benefits
