Protocol Education: Seeking a Dedicated Textiles Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging textiles lessons aligned with the curriculum for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the textiles curriculum and share best practices.
  • Foster a love for textiles, encouraging students to explore techniques in design, sewing, and fabric manipulation.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching textiles in a secondary school setting, particularly in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for textiles and the ability to inspire students to explore their creativity.
