Job Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents, working closely with our experienced care staff to deliver individualized care plans.

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you will possess a kind and caring approach, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support to older adults. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals to achieve desired outcomes.

You will have experience in a care home setting, preferably with a background in nursing or midwifery. A strong leader with the ability to motivate and support colleagues will be essential in this role, as will a willingness to learn and develop your skills in line with company policies and procedures.

The Role

">

As a Staff Nurse at Morar Living, you can expect a challenging yet rewarding role that will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and support to care staff, championing resident safety and dignity;">
  • Liaising with GPs and other health professionals to ensure residents receive necessary medical support;">
  • SUPPORTING induction programs, training, and competency assessments for care staff;">
  • Ensuring the safe and proper management of medications, adhering to NMC requirements;">
  • Maintaining clinical equipment in a safe, clean, and functional state;">
  • Assisting residents in maintaining their own infection control needs;">
  • Intervening in situations where there is significant risk to residents;">
  • Maintaining residents' confidentiality in accordance with Caldicott Requirements;">
