Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Darwin Escapes. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our luxurious lodges and accommodation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cleaning lodges and accommodation on changeover days, paying close attention to detail to ensure a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Change over bed linen and restock lodges with essentials as required.
  • Assist with deep cleans on accommodation as necessary, using a range of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Keep accurate inventories of cleaning materials and products, ensuring that supplies are always available when needed.
  • Clean windows inside and out, using a range of cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Assist with delivery, collection, and making up of laundry boxes, ensuring that all laundry is processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Promptly report any lost or found property to the reception team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • A positive work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for this role.
  • A driving license and the ability to drive is an advantage, as this will enable easy travel to and from the resort.
