Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for effective rostering of the team to meet the needs of our clinics and theatre lists. This will involve working in a fast-paced environment, typically seeing 18-22 patients a day in our high-volume cataract surgery provision.

Requirements
  • Fully qualified Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current registration with the NMC or HCPC.
  • Previous hospital eye service or private eye clinic experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical practice and awareness of current developments in Optometry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
  • Experience of leading a team, including training and coaching others.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: £52,000 to £57,000 depending on experience.
