We are seeking an experienced CAD engineer to support our design director in creating bespoke designs for customers.
Job DescriptionThis is a newly created role that involves:
- CAD and Software Skills: Using CAD software to create designs that meet customer briefs. Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
- CNC Programming: Programming CNC machines using AlphaCAM.
- Sourcing Materials: Sourcing fixtures and fittings for furniture assembly.
- Space Planning: Creating 3D renders and planning spaces for furniture assembly.
- Liaising with Customers: Gathering detailed project information from customers, including their requirements and specifications.
The successful candidate will have Advanced Excel skills and experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, paid on a monthly basis. This is a full-time office-based position, working Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
