Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will provide exceptional care that truly changes lives. You will help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities, empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
Your Responsibilities
- Help the people we support to engage in leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
- Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others.
- Work across various shift patterns, including early, late, weekend, or night shifts. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
About the Service
Aldeburgh House is a relaxed and welcoming home that gives the people living there a space of their own, and the independence to make their own choices, but with support always there when they need it. There's a busy social calendar for people to join in when they want to – whether it's heading down to the nearby beach, going for a pub lunch, or to the theatre for a fun night out.

- If successful, we'll organise your Free DBS Check and references prior to confirming your start date.
- Your journey will then begin with a 3-day online induction, before heading to the service to get started.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and no experience is needed. You may be new to care, or already have experience in the social care sector or NHS. As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and you are able to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people – then we're here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
