Job Summary

The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow in General Medicine to join our team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our medical services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Participating in educational and research activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualifications (MRCP).
  • At least 2 years of experience in Medicine at a SHO equivalent grade or above.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably at ST3-5 level.
  • Sound general medicine knowledge and the ability to manage a wide variety of acute medical emergencies.

Desirable Criteria

It is desirable for the candidate to have:

  • PACES certification.
  • ALS Provider certification.
