Job Summary

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of UPS facilities by overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as managing budgets and resources effectively. The PE Supervisor will work closely with the operations team to identify and address any issues that may impact facility operations, ensuring timely completion of work and promoting efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping.
  • Manages budgets and resources to ensure effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Works closely with the operations team to identify and address any issues that may impact facility operations.
  • Communicates assigned work status to colleagues to determine potential impact on the department's schedule.
  • Assists with maintaining environmental compliance in accordance with UPS environmental programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering - Preferred
  • Previous team management experience - Mandatory
  • Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, automation and control, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams
  • Availability to work flexible hours
