Job Title: Digital Education Officer

We are seeking an experienced Digital Education Officer to join our team at Theatre NI. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating our arts education projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality educational and community engagement programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the delivery of Vital Connect, a multi-annual project supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
  • Develop and maintain the Bruiser Digital Grid, a database of e-learning resources for the teaching and study of Drama.
  • Coordinate practical drama workshops, devising theatre pieces, and delivering continued professional development and teacher training.
  • Oversee the 'Bruiser in a Box' annual touring of professional theatre productions to schools and community groups.
Requirements:
  • Experience in arts education and community engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of arts education policy and the current Drama curriculum.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and within a team to tight deadlines.
  • Basic financial/budget management skills.
What We Offer:
  • A fixed-term contract ending 30th September 2026 with potential for renewal subject to funding.
  • A full-time position with 40 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
