About the Role:

Actio Recruitment is assisting our electronics client in their search for an SMT Operator. This full-time, permanent role requires someone experienced in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operations. During the training period, you will work standard day shift hours before transitioning to the early shift.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate SMT machines to manufacture high-quality electronic assemblies.

* Pasting, printing and loading pick and place machines.

* Ensure all production and quality standards are met.

* Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues.

Requirements:

* Experience in operating SMT equipment desirable – but not essential.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do:

As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating SMT machines to manufacture high-quality electronic assemblies. You will also be responsible for pasting, printing, and loading pick and place machines, ensuring all production and quality standards are met. Additionally, you will perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone with experience in operating SMT equipment, although this is not essential. You will need to have strong attention to detail and be able to follow technical instructions. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is also required.
