We are seeking a part-time receptionist to join our team at the Melville Inn, a beautiful 74-bedroom hotel. The role involves checking guests in and out, taking bookings and payments using online computer systems, and providing high levels of guest service at all times.

The shifts would vary between 7 AM and 11 PM, and we can be flexible with hours, days, and shifts, but weekend availability is a must. As a member of our team, you will work independently for some periods, but know that the team will be in the building next door at all times.

This part-time position includes lone working to some extent, and it requires individuals who are self-motivated and able to work efficiently without direct supervision. If you are interested in a rewarding role with opportunities for growth and development, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Welcoming guests and ensuring their stay is enjoyable
  2. Managing room assignments and handling guest inquiries
  3. Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly
