About the Role:

The Internal Communications Executive will be part of a team that delivers engaging and impactful internal communications to help Williams Racing's diverse workforce feel connected, informed, and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, edit, and write content for internal communications mediums, such as the intranet, digital channels, and internal communication events.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to increase frontline engagement and develop content for regular internal communications.
  • Support key internal communication projects and change initiatives.
  • Help build a content calendar that supports multiple streams of content and events across all channels.
  • Support internal communications events, such as regular race debriefs, all-staff town halls, and staff engagement activities.
  • Provide support during crisis situations that affect organisational perception and reputation.
  • Use audience insight and analytics to drive the IC strategy, channel selection, content calendar, and messaging for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure values and behaviours are embedded into all comms to reinforce and bring them to life.

Requirements:

  • Experience of developing and delivering corporate employee/internal communications.
  • Excellent English language writing and editing skills, able to tailor complex and technical content to different audiences.
  • Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities.
  • Ability to develop and deliver communications that support a wide range of challenges.
  • Highly organised, able to demonstrate previous experience of prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience of creating and delivering content via digital internal communications channels.
  • Experience of organising and producing employee events.
  • An enthusiastic and active contributor and team colleague who collaborates on ideas, opportunities, and issues to deliver team goals.
  • Proactively seeks information from a wide variety of sources to increase clarity, build new insights, and recognise opportunities or threats.
  • Capacity to view situations from multiple perspectives and provide alternative solutions to business problems.
  • Able to communicate with impact and listen actively and with empathy, respecting the views of others so they feel valued and heard.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organisational ability, able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines with sometimes a changeable set of priorities.
