About the Role

We are seeking a driven and target-oriented Learner Recruitment Officer to join our team at S Knights Recruitment, a specialist Employability and Skills recruitment agency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Recruitment: Engaging with key stakeholders and referral partners to find potential learners to enrol onto pre-apprenticeship programmes that will prepare them for apprenticeships.
  • Enrolment and Matching: Enrolling learners onto Path2 pre-apprenticeship programmes and matching them with suitable apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
  • Key Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with referral partners and apprenticeship providers to generate apprenticeship vacancies and promote the benefits of hiring learners from the Path2 programme.
  • Short Course Enrolment: Encouraging learners to participate in short courses to enhance their skills and increase their employability.
  • Sales and Conversion: Converting leads into enrolments by effectively selling the benefits of pre-apprenticeship programmes.
  • Travel: Meeting with learners, employers, and apprenticeship advisors within the West Midlands as required to facilitate successful placements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in learner engagement or recruitment, particularly in learner recruitment, employability, or apprenticeship sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with learners, employers, and training providers.
  • Experience in generating apprenticeship or employment vacancies and working towards recruitment targets.
  • The ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and convert leads into successful enrolments.
  • A willingness to travel within the West Midlands as needed.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £27,500 - £30,000 per year.
