About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Assistant to join YourTeaching Ltd, a supportive and inclusive school in Gravesend, Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them thrive in their educational journey.

As an SEN Support Professional, you will work closely with students who have a variety of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioural difficulties.

You will provide tailored support in and outside of the classroom, helping students to engage with their learning, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.

Your role will be integral in ensuring that every child receives the support they need to succeed in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student.
  • Help students with academic tasks, social skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Support students with personal care and mobility if required.
  • Assist in managing student behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
