Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Piramal Group. As a key member of our Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair
    • Execute, manage, and coordinate the repair of equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
    • Ensure that maintenance and repair contracts are in place and up to date for each instrument.
  • Equipment Calibration and Qualification
    • Execute, manage, and coordinate the maintenance, calibration, and qualification of routine QC equipment.
    • Ensure that maintenance and repair contracts are in place and up to date for each instrument.
  • Procurement and Implementation
    • Identify new instruments and equipment needs and liaise with QC Team Leaders and QC Manager to ensure alignment with current activities.
    • Procure new equipment and software, ensuring compliance with company GMP requirements.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
    • Support and perform periodic review of QC equipment and track and trend those activities.
    • Perform administration activities for analytical software.
    • Ensure compliance with ESH requirements and report any deviations to the QC Manager.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify areas for continuous improvement and escalate to the QC Manager.
    • Participate in the implementation of changes as part of a team project.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of an enthusiastic, supportive, and collaborative environment within the team setting.
