Petrofac is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist for a 9-month contract in Aberdeen, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

Scope of Services:

Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment:

  1. Develop comprehensive subcontract strategy papers and plans for designated technical services within the scope of an international client contract. Utilising specialist services to identify and recommend optimal subcontracting approaches aligned with project objectives.
  2. Conduct discrete tender exercises in accordance with Petrofac's established processes and procedures. Provide specialist technical services including preparing tender documentation, tendering process, evaluating bids, and making recommendations for subcontract awards.
  3. Negotiate priority subcontracts for the distinct services under the scope of services and ensure compliance with Petrofac approval matrix is followed and approvals are secured before placement of awards.
  4. Collaborate with relevant departments, including Legal, Tax, Insurance, and Group Compliance, to ensure that all subcontracts are fully compliant with Petrofac policies and external regulations. This includes ensuring adherence to the Petrofac delegation of authority and other corporate governance requirements.
  5. Maintain strict confidentiality concerning all allocated subcontracts and Invitation to Tender (ITT) processes, ensuring that sensitive information is protected and only disclosed to authorized personnel.
Deliverables:

Services should be provided to enable production of the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.

  1. Execute contract process end to end for discrete services.
  2. Liaise with procurement department to ensure timely placement of orders for discrete services.
  3. Client approved, board approved, compliant and executed contracts.
  4. Contractor expertise to ensure delivery focused solutions.
  5. Fluency with LOGIC and other industry standard contract principles.
  6. Expertise with various remuneration models.
