Overview

The Lincolnshire Community Health Service NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join their team. As a key member of the podiatry service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive foot services.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing treatment for patients with a range of foot conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise, working across various clinic settings, including GP surgeries, health clinics, and multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinics.

Main Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing specialist podiatry services, including wound management, diabetes care, biomechanics, and nail surgery
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care
  • Supporting less experienced colleagues in their professional development
  • Undertaking IRMER training and utilizing diagnostic tools such as blood swabbing, X-Rays, and ultrasound
Person Specification

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • At least 3 years post-registration experience
  • Post-registration NHS experience
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Local Anaesthetics certificate (POM A)
  • Member of the Royal College of Podiatry
  • Evidence of working in MDFT clinic
  • Evidence of conducting virtual consultations
  • Completion of RCOP Diabetic foot module
  • Evidence of relevant MSc level degree
What We Offer

The Lincolnshire Community Health Service NHS Trust offers a competitive salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata, and a range of benefits, including flexible working opportunities and access to an 'earn while you learn' apprenticeship programme.

Contract Details

This is a permanent position, with full-time, part-time, flexible working, and compressed hours available.
