Junior Water Treatment Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Water Treatment Technician to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for supporting our clients in maintaining the efficiency, effectiveness, and longevity of their commercial water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct temperature checks and water sampling to ensure water quality meets client standards.
  • Inspect and service TMV systems, showers, and tanks to prevent Legionella growth.
  • Perform chlorination works, service, and replace water softeners and filters as needed.
  • Ensure water hygiene and treatment maintenance, servicing, and repair works are carried out in accordance with client standards and legislation.
  • Attend emergency callouts during and outside normal working hours.
  • Wear relevant company-issued PPE and clothing.
  • Submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene.
  • Knowledge of Legionella and its prevention.
  • Knowledge of commercial plumbing and building services.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary ranging between £25k and £27k depending on experience.
  • 25 days' holiday (not including bank holidays).
  • Pension scheme after 3 full months' service (3% employer contribution, 5% employee).
