Role Overview

As a Senior Manager for Children’s Home, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

* Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of young people and their families.
* Care and Support: Ensure that young people receive high-quality care and support, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
* Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent care and services.
* Compliance and Quality: Ensure that the home operates within all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Requirements

* A relevant qualification in childcare or a related field (e.g., social work, youth work, or mental health).
* Proven experience of managing a children’s home or a similar service.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, their families, and stakeholders.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of young people and their families.
