As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the full purchase ledger process, including updating the cashbook, reconciling bank statements, and working closely with the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the cashbook with bank transactions and reconcile bank statements to trial balance.
  • Print invoices, batch, and code them for processing.
  • Assist the finance team with tasks such as updating cashflow forecasts and reconciling payments onto the system.
  • Complete the monthly payment run and work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
