Job Summary

The Climate Analytics Lead will oversee the development of climate analytics methodologies and stress testing processes across key areas of risk identification, scenario design, data management, model build, reporting, and result usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Methodology Development: Lead end-to-end development of climate risk-related analytics and stress testing methodologies to ensure accurate risk measurement and effective decision-making.
  • Program Governance: Provide senior leadership to manage stakeholders across first-line, risk, research, and other functions, ensuring proper enterprise-level governance over climate risk analytics activities.
  • Model Sponsorship: Own business requirements and subject matter expertise around climate risk model strategy, ensuring analytical capabilities align with business needs and industry practices.
  • Reporting and Communication: Communicate key takeaways and learnings at senior business and risk forums, promoting clear and consistent messaging on top climate/sustainability priorities.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Address regulatory expectations for managing climate-related risk measurement approaches, communicating progress updates on climate scenario analysis to external stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proven experience in developing and implementing climate analytics methodologies and stress testing processes.
