R&D Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Tax Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for leading the provision of services for a portfolio of clients, supporting junior staff, and working on ad hoc projects relating to R&D with the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Review and prepare R&D claims to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Work collaboratively with the wider tax team to maximise client service and utilise resources effectively.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring awareness of their requirements and providing quality tax advice on all aspects of assignments.
- Empower the tax team through appropriate delegation and effective people management, consistently seeking internal improvement and presenting opportunities to senior leadership.
- Manage margins effectively to drive profitability and successfully engage new clients.
- Proactively engage with the mentoring and development of junior staff.

What's On Offer- A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

- Demonstrable tax advisory and tax compliance experience within a practice environment.
- R&D experience.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to lead a team and project manage, including decision-making, time management, and prioritisation.
