Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in a rotational post across Kingston and Richmond. The role will enable you to develop and integrate your OT skills and knowledge in social services, community, and acute settings.

About the Role

As a rotational Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will work across three different teams: Care of the Elderly at Kingston Hospital, Richmond Response and Rehab team, and Long Term Complex Care Team. You will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients in various settings, including inpatient clinical settings, community settings, and patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients in various settings
- Work closely with patients, family members, carers, and acute/community partners to deliver individualised treatment programmes
- Facilitate clinical supervision, student development, and service improvement initiatives

Requirements

- Completed a minimum of two years qualified Occupational Therapy experience
- Postgraduate experience that covers core skills in rehabilitation, including therapeutic handling and management of people with complex conditions
- Broad clinical experience, including orthopaedics, general medicine, neurology, and older adults
