Care Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Manager to join our team at Sense. As a Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential service, ensuring it meets organizational and CQC standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the residential service, ensuring it meets organizational and CQC standards.
- Lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers, supporting individuals in their home and community to achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans for individuals with complex needs.
- Collaborate with other RCMs to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prior experience of managing in a care setting and good knowledge & understanding of a Residential and/or Supported Living service.
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - or willing to work towards it is essential. Sense will fund this qualification.
- Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable.
- Experience of supporting people with Challenging Behaviour, Epilepsy or have experience with administrating PEG, BNS, Buccolam in a professional/personal capacity is desirable.
