About the Role:
  • Undertake comprehensive building contract administration, including preparing legal contract tender documentation and specifications.
  • Supervise and monitor capital contracts for Council-owned housing, ensuring prompt and high-quality repair works.
  • Conduct inspections of void and tenanted properties to agree work specifications and deliver a customer-focused reactive maintenance service.
  • Engage with residents to provide support, advice, and interventions, promoting proactive stakeholder engagement.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in building surveying, with a strong understanding of building contract administration.
  • Excellent report-writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise legal contract tender documentation.
  • Ability to supervise and monitor capital contracts, ensuring compliance with performance targets and customer satisfaction.
