**Role Overview:** Primary School SEN Assistant Role

**Estimated Salary:** £28,000 - £38,000 per annum based on experience.

This exciting opportunity involves working in mainstream primary schools in Leicestershire and surrounding areas, providing specialist support to students with additional needs. The successful candidate will possess a Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning qualification and have experience working with children who require extra support.

You will work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement targeted strategies, assist with lesson planning, and provide individualised support to students with specific SEN needs. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with children and staff will enable you to make a positive impact on our students' lives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Working in small groups with students who have additional needs
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to design and deliver effective interventions
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery to meet evolving student needs

**Requirements:**

  • Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or equivalent) qualification
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing student requirements
